+1

Tried one on in Rivet & Hide last week, felt like it’d last a lifetime.

I know the fleece trend is a trend, but these both seem good options without looking to Tech startup / normcore. I'm looking for something sporty/casual as an alternative to lambswool cardigans, rollnecks and Shetlands.

Something about zipup layering pieces annoys me but think I prefer the charcoal colour. The beige one seems darker in other pics.

Both are nice, but charcoal will be easier to wear with things. What brand?

Get a Patagonia Retro-X off ebay.
Matches the kind of stuff you wear, and will hold its value for when you're bored of it.

They are from Best Made Co.

Couldn't do Patagonia with the branding, see them everywhere and ideally want a wool one. Shame the Drake's ones are so steep and just two bright colours.

Fleece is a trend ? Always seemed popular to me. Maybe us vs uk divide?

Don't get this. Feels legit to have the (v subtle) branding when they famously make the quintessential fleece.

Edit: fucking hell £460 for that Best Made Co one with the shitty elbow patches. Don't do it.

Popping off in London atm.

Can't see the Story one anywhere, wouldn't it have applique flowers or similar though!

I think the elbow pads are quite practical on the one above and make it a bit more technical.

I've got this in my wardrobe but haven't got round to wearing it. Laughing out loud

I've got two better sweaters as well and the quality is really good to be fair, and quite smart.

Seen loads of really nice stuff from snow peak on their shop, really want to get the insulated button up that someone here is selling…

That fleece is wool I believe so will be better than your usual acrylic ones

The shop in St James is well worth a visit if you haven't been. Much better seeing the stuff in person but the prices are pretty steep!

No worries. I found they fit big by the way as a heads up
